This event will present factual
information regarding the issue of global climate change.
The content and non-technical terminology have been
specifically formatted for an audience consisting principally
of the general public.
The Forum is the first of many events organized to elevate
discussion of climate change to a level which will encourage
action by elected officials, city managers, and residents
of the Space Coast.
The Climate Change Forum has been organized by the East-Central
Florida Climate Change Task Force and will be held on
Monday, February 9, 2009, between the hours of 7:00
pm and 9:00 pm.
The Forum will begin with presentations from Dr. Harold
Wanless and Peter Harlem, M.S., followed by a round

challenges to Florida residents by influencing nearly every aspect
of our lives and the natural systems around us.
